The vision and leadership behind Arizona Packaging Solutions
Robert Martinez
Founder & CEORobert founded Arizona Packaging Solutions in 2009 after 15 years in the logistics industry. His vision was to create a company that combined quality products with exceptional customer service. Today, he continues to lead the company with a focus on sustainable growth and customer relationships.
Maria Santos
Co-Founder & COOMaria joined as co-founder in 2010, bringing expertise in operations management and supply chain optimization. Her systems-focused approach has been instrumental in scaling the business while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Our Journey
Building trust and excellence over 15 years
Founded in Phoenix
Arizona Packaging Solutions was founded by Robert Martinez in a small warehouse in South Phoenix. Starting with just 500 pallets and a single delivery truck, we began serving local manufacturing businesses in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Our focus was simple: provide quality used packaging at fair prices with reliable service.
Adding Gaylord Boxes
Responding to customer requests, we expanded our product line to include gaylord boxes. This addition allowed us to serve agricultural customers during harvest season and manufacturing facilities needing bulk storage. We also moved to a larger 15,000 sq ft facility to accommodate growing inventory.
Repair Services Launch
We introduced professional repair services for pallets and containers. This service helped our customers extend the life of their packaging materials, reducing waste and costs. We invested in specialized equipment and trained technicians to ensure quality repairs that meet industry standards.
Fleet Expansion
We expanded our transportation fleet from 2 trucks to 8, including flatbed trailers for large deliveries. This investment allowed us to offer same-day delivery within the Phoenix metro area and next-day delivery throughout Arizona. We also established relationships with freight partners for out-of-state shipments.
IBC Totes Introduced
We added IBC totes to our product line, serving chemical manufacturers, food processors, and beverage companies. This required specialized handling procedures and reconditioning equipment. We became one of the few suppliers in Arizona offering food-grade certified totes.
Green Program Launch
We launched our comprehensive recycling and sustainability program. This included partnerships with recycling facilities, waste diversion tracking, and sustainability reporting for customers. We committed to keeping 90% of end-of-life packaging out of landfills through recycling and reuse programs.
New Distribution Center
We relocated to our current 45,000 sq ft distribution center with dedicated areas for storage, repair operations, and quality inspection. The new facility includes climate-controlled storage for sensitive materials and modern safety systems for employee protection.
Serving the Southwest
We expanded our service area to include Nevada, New Mexico, and Southern California. Strategic partnerships with freight carriers allow us to offer competitive rates throughout the Southwest region while maintaining the quality service our customers expect.

Today, Arizona Packaging Solutions is recognized as a trusted leader in the industrial packaging industry. We serve over 500 businesses across multiple states, process thousands of products monthly, and maintain an industry-leading 98% on-time delivery rate. Our team continues to grow alongside our customers.
